Day 25. Coral Bay to Exmouth

It was a slow pack up this morning as we had made a lot of mess over the past 3 days, especially last night. Fortunately it was also a short drive, a mere 1 1/2 hours to Exmouth, and no stops on the way. We stayed out of town near the Vlamingh Head lighthouse, built in 1912 after the wreck of the SS Mildura. This is one of the only places in Australia you can see the sun (or moon) rise and set over water. Needless to say Tom will utilize this position for photos over the next few days.

25 maybe lighthouse at night
I thought I would include this photo. Please note the stars. This was taken at 10.30 at night. A 3 minute exposure for you photo buffs.

Beach fishing and more swimming, another day done.
Music of the drive bought to us by Nick Cave.

Greeting Hindhaugh’s day 21- 25 , you have certianly travelled many K’s. Good to see you are mixing with the locals, but did you have to go and get bogged to achieve this. A quite beer or wine at the local would haved sufficed.
    stay safe
