Day 29 Exmouth

It rained last night. Grumpy WA woman on the Nullarbor told me it never rained anymore in WA. Looks like she was wrong.  Not much but enough to wet the chairs left out overnight. Ah, first world problems.

Needing a break from beaches we went into Exmouth and accessed the Internet – that was the last dump of blog posts. Internet access is quite random in the more remote parts of WA so I will be doing blog updates in blocks.

In the afternoon we drove up 2 gorges on the western side of the Cape Range National Park – Charles Knofe Gorge and Shothole Canyon.  Not the massive gorges to come later in the trip but impressive none the less.gorges small

On the way back we stopped at a beach to see the SS Mildura wreck, a cattle ship that ran aground in 1907. As you can see it is easily seen from the shore.
